A Plea for Insanity: Sponsor a Rubber Chicken

Why insanity? We all need a little insanity in life. Work becomes too hard, home is stressful, someone just stood on your foot on the train. Reality is less than ideal. The answer? Go a little crazy.
As always, the minds behind Ay and Bee strive to provide you with a number of sanity-reducing options:

Go crazy this year by sponsoring a rubber chicken for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival production of Ay and Bee.

We're looking for people to sponsor the 30 rubber chickens which star in The Beige Adventures of Ay and Bee, appearing at The Royal College of Surgeons, and The Grape.
For just £20, sponsors will:
* be able to name their chicken and receive a credit in the programme. Chickens can be named anything you like, within the usual standards of public exposure (eg. no terms likely to cause offense, although we will accept 'Marcia').
* receive a picture of their chicken on stage.
* anyone who gets too attached to their chicken to part can arrange to have it posted to them after the show.

We offer further marketing coverage for an increased sponsorship. For £100, your business can gain:
* all of the above, and
* your business logo in the 'sponsors' section of the programme, which will be handed directly to over 3,000 people over the course of the festival - all of whom will have seen your chicken and thought, 'Oh, how cute! What a great business!'

For between £300 and £500, businesses can become our Festival Partner and receive:
* sponsorship of a rubber chicken, with all the trimmings
* display of your logo in the 'sponsors' section of the programme
* your logo on all advertising material, which will be going out throughout the festival: we will be handing out between 5,000 and 10,000 leaflets to the 1.5 million visitors the Edinburgh Fringe experiences every year
Major sponsors receive more prominent display.

Appear in the world's biggest fringe festival this year by proxy poultry for £20, and help to make thousands of people laugh at this year's Fringe. If you would like more information, please contact us at ayandbee@hclarecallow.com, and if you would like to sponsor us please click on the Paypal button below, making sure to email us about your contribution.

Contribute in other ways
The Beige Adventures is all about losing touch with dreary reality. Thankfully, the responsibility for this is left solely to the two characters on stage, allowing you to sit back and bask in the warm glow of unreality.

The Beige Adventures of Ay and Bee is about two characters, dragged into being by a megalomaniacal author and left to sort out the problems of existence. For instance, if a fictional character pushes over a tree in the woods, should you be taking more pills? And, if you're apparently superglued inside a carrot costume, can you explain it away?

The world is a gloomy place, but it's easy for you to bring laughter into it. If anything on this website has made you smile, please consider supporting us with a small (even teeny weeny) donation. The nature of theatre means that a donation of even as little as £5 will help us keep Ay and Bee in the state to which they have become accustomed.* This means that any contribution you make will make a real difference and that you will be a producer for this show in a very real sense. How cool is that?

We also welcome in-kind sponsorship of any form, and are looking for one or two tricky props. We would appreciate any help offered to procure them, particularly thirty rubber chickens. (Yes, we were serious about the rubber chickens.)

Significant contributors will be given special credit as Executive Producers and will be entitled to a private preview performance. Please email ayandbee@hclarecallow.com for more information.
